Dr Raj Persaud: Expert Psychiatrist

Dr. Raj Persaud is an esteemed Consultant Psychiatrist with a distinguished career that includes his role as a Consultant at the Bethlem Royal and Maudsley NHS Hospitals in London from 1994 to 2008 and as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry, University of London—Europe’s leading institutions for psychiatric research and training.

Dr. Persaud also served as a Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the U.S. and the Institute of Neurology at Queen Square. His advanced training, which began after graduating from UCH Medical School in 1986, has been centered at the Institute of Psychiatry and the Maudsley Hospitals. Adding to his psychiatric expertise, Dr. Persaud holds a degree in psychology with First Class Honours and eight additional degrees and diplomas, including a Master’s in Statistics.
